DDOS attack on cp3.netwisp.com (Resolved)
  • Priority - Critical
  • Affecting Server - cp3
  • Greetings,

We are having a DDOS attack on the cp3.netwisp.com mail server coming from China Telecom's IP blocks. This is disrupting anyone who is on the server from being able to send/receive emails. We're working on mitigating the issue - we've already blocked over 15 million IPs and will continue to add more of China Telecom's IP blocks to the firewall until they're no longer able to use up all the available connections. We will update this issue once its resolved.

Update 6PM : We have mitigated the attack so all email services should be back to normal. Please let us know if you are still having problems so we can get them resolved.

Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this attack.

Webserver performance issues (Resolved)
  • Priority - High
  • Affecting Server - cp3
  • Greetings,

We are currently experiencing stability issues with cp3's apache webserver where it will stop responding to requests for brief periods at random intervals. We've been working with cPanel and CloudLinux to determine the cause and resolve it as quickly as possible the issue. Currently only the web server is affected by this issue. Other services such as email, FTP, cPanel, and MySQL are not affected by this issue.

UPDATE: 5/23/2016 - We isolated the issue and our fix has been working for 5 days without any further disruptions so we are considering this closed.

Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding while we work to resolve this issue. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions and we'll be happy to answer them.
